How To Use Our New Website

You might’ve noticed a few changes to the Walk-in Lab website. We think you’ll like what we’ve done. Take a moment to read this, so you can better know how to use our new website. Some of the features are obvious, but others might not be as intuitive.

The first thing you’ll notice is the site now runs a little faster. It also has a wider layout for easier viewing on both your desktop and on your mobile device. Navigating the site is simpler. The blue bar at the top of the screen allows you quick access to the categories of tests, lab locator, even a direct link to our wealth of information we’ve shared in the form of blogs and videos!  If you haven’t checked those posts out before, we highly recommend it. In them, we answer some of the questions you’ve probably been asking yourself, especially if you’re the type of person who wants to take control of their healthcare.

For more in general information about Walk-in Lab, we even created a series of videos answering some of your most frequently asked questions. You can find those videos here or if you click on “How It Works” in the blue task bar, the first category in the drop down is FAQs. There are eight (8) videos in total, each under a separate category. You don’t have to watch them all, just the ones that you want answers for.

We created the ability to customize your panels when ordering. As a bonus, we’ve included an additional bonus for our customers who take advantage of this and order multiple tests at the same time. The more tests you order at once, the higher the discount goes, starting at 10% and going to as high as 25% off! Best part, you don’t have to do anything special to take advantage of these savings. As you add tests into your cart, the system will keep track and apply the appropriate discount at checkout. For more details on this program, click on the Discount Panels tab. The drop down will offer you a Customize Your Panel option. Clicking on that will take you to our program explanation page.

When you’re on that checkout page, you’ll be happy to know that the system now allows you to store your credit card information securely on our site. Gone are the days where you have to re-enter that information every time you order a new test. Should you so choose.

But by far our biggest change, and we saved the best for last, is that Walk-in Lab is now working with Quest Diagnostics. Not only does this more than double the amount of lab locations available to you, our customer, but it also means we get to add some more testing options than we had before! Together, Walk-in Lab now has access to 3,700 lab locations across the United States. To find a LabCorp and Quest Diagnostics near you, visit our Lab Locator

This does add a step to the ordering process. Once you’ve chosen the category of the test you wish to order, you’ll notice the option to choose the lab you wish to go to. Once you make your choice, you’ll only see test options for that lab. There are subtle differences between LabCorp and Quest Diagnostics, so be wary of those when ordering. Or, if you know the name of the test you are ordering, you can type it in our search bar in the upper right corner of the page. In that case, you will see both LabCorp (LC) and Quest Diagnostic (QD) options.

Once you’ve made that choice, the process of ordering is exactly the same as it was before. Add the test to your cart. Either keep shopping or go directly to checkout.

We’d love your feedback on the new site. Please leave it on either our Facebook page or Twitter page. And if there’s any other confusion as to how to use our new website, please let us know by either calling 1-800-539-6119 or using the chat function in the lower right corner of our website.
