This Allergix IgG4 Food Antibodies, 30 Blood Spot at-home test kit measures the total IgG levels that react to common food antigens.

No fasting required. The use of immunosuppressive drugs, such as cortisone, can give false negative results. Discontinue the use of such drugs for 60 days before testing to allow antibody reactions to be seen. Check with physician before stopping medications. It is best to ship your specimen within 48 hours of collection. Specimen must be sent to lab by overnight mail Monday-Thursday only. Please read patient instructions very carefully prior to beginning the test.
