What is the purpose of this test?

The GI Effects Fundamentals Profile helps individuals understand how well their digestive system is working. It provides important information about digestion, absorption, and the balance of gut bacteria. This test can help find the cause of symptoms like bloating, gas, diarrhea, and constipation. By understanding what's happening in the gut, doctors can create a plan to improve digestion and overall health.

In simple terms, the GI Effects Fundamentals Profile test helps doctors see if the gut is working properly and if there are any issues with digestion or gut bacteria. This information can then be used to create a plan to help people feel better and have a healthier digestive system.
