AMH levels can be affected by hormonal contraception. To get the most accurate indication of your ovarian reserve, it is important that you are not using hormonal contraception when taking this test. The sample must be collected before 10 am on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday and returned on the same day. *Results may be affected if you have been taking hormonal contraceptives within the last three months.
