No fasting required. Ship to lab Monday-Thursday only. Please read all of the directions and the collection procedures prior to starting test. The use of immunosuppressive drugs, such as cortisone, can give false negative results. Discontinue the use of such drugs for 60 days before testing to allow antibody reactions to be seen. Check with physician before stopping medications. Restrict fluid intake to three 8-ounce glasses or less for 24 hours. Make sure no more than 8 ounces are consumed after 8:00 p.m. the evening prior to collection. Do not collect during menstruation.

Test Results:

17-20 days once the lab receives the specimen. May take longer based on weather, holiday or lab delays.
