Preparation:
Fasting for at least 10-12 hours is required. Ship to lab Monday-Thursday only. Please read all of the directions and the collection procedures prior to starting the test.

Vitamin D can be obtained through dietary intake or produced naturally in the body as a hormone when exposed to direct sunlight. Therefore, the total Vitamin D in the body is made of 2 forms:
