Walk-In Lab is a direct-to-consumer, online lab test purchasing service. By using this service, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and other applicable laws. Walk-In Lab reserves the right to make changes at any time and changes will be effective immediately upon publishing. If you do not agree to comply with these Terms & Conditions, please do not use this website.

By utilizing this site, you agree to the following: 

    • you are over the age of 18;
    • the information you submit while purchasing a lab test is truthful and accurate;
    • you will not copy any images, text or structure from this website;
    • you will use the site according to instructions and intended use; and
    • you will abide by the Purchase Policy and Medical Disclaimer as defined below.

    Purchase Policy 

    The information on this website is for informational purposes only. Walk-In Lab makes no expressed or implied warranties, representations or endorsements whatsoever with regard to the services provided. It is solely your responsibility to evaluate the accuracy, completeness and usefulness of all opinions, advice, services, merchandise and other information provided. Walk-In Lab shall not be liable for any cost or damage arising either directly or indirectly from any transactions conducted or information conveyed on the website. Walk-In Lab offers no assurance of uninterrupted service or error free service. Walk-In Lab does not warrant the accuracy or completeness of the information, text, graphics, links or other items contained on the website.

    The users of this website agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Walk-In Lab, its officers, directors, employees, agents, licensor's, suppliers and any third party information providers to the website from and against all losses, expenses, damages and costs, including reasonable attorneys' fees, resulting from any violation of these Terms & Conditions by the user.

    Discount coupon codes issued by Walk-In Lab are issued as a courtesy to our customers. Orders placed that do not meet the requirements or after expiration will be processed without the discount. Monthly specials will only be honored during the month they are featured. Site-wide percentage-off sales exclude Home Test Kits and Monthly Specials. Health Care Providers are not eligible for additional discounts.  Refunds will not be given retroactively. Coupons are not redeemable for cash and only one may be used for each purchase.  Adjustments, credits and/or refunds for discount codes not entered at the time of ordering will not be issued.

    Refunds are only permitted prior to submission of specimens for testing. Within thirty (30) days of purchase, a refund will be issued using the original payment method less a $25 cancellation fee. Within thirty-one to ninety (31-90) days of purchase date, a full website credit will be issued upon request and the credit will expire one (1) year from the purchase date. All ALCAT Home Test Kit orders are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.

    Lab orders are valid for six (6) months from the date of purchase. If you do not use your lab order within this time period it expires. Lab orders will be renewed at no charge for another six months if requested within one year of purchase.

    This website shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Louisiana without giving effect to any principles or conflicts of law. This website is owned and operated by Walk-In Lab, LLC.  All of the information contained herein is the exclusive property of Walk-In Lab, LLC. 

    Please note that Walk-In Lab only operates within the United States.  Due to state laws prohibiting direct-access testing, we are unable to offer services through LabCorp in New York, New Jersey, Rhode Island, Maryland, and Massachusetts and through Quest Diagnostics in New York, New Jersey and  Rhode Island.  If ordering a Home Test Kit, please Contact Us if you reside in one of these states or outside the United States

    Please also note that LabCorp, Quest Diagnostics and Walk-In Lab's ordering physicians require that patients tested be at least 18 years old.  Walk-In Lab is unable to process orders for anyone under the age of 18 at this time.

    Low Price and Service Satisfaction Guarantees  

    Only Walk-In Lab will match any lower price you find online at a competitor's website.  Price matches will only be issued for respective labs.  Total price includes any applicable processing or handling fees.  If you locate a lower price online, prior to placing your order, Contact Us or call 1-800-539-6119.  Price adjustments will not be made once an order has been placed.  

    Only Walk-In Lab guarantees your satisfaction.  If for some reason you are not completely satisfied or in agreement with the results of your test and want a redraw, Contact Us or call 1-800-539-6119 within seven (7) business days of your original draw date.  You would need to pay for the redraw at the same price as the original.  If the results come back drastically different, in most cases greater than a 10% difference, you will be refunded for the second test.

Outside of providing affordable, clinical testing, Walk-In Lab does not engage in rendering medical advice or other medical services. Further, Walk-In Lab gives no warranty that any clinical lab test will prevent disease.

    A clinical lab test only constitutes a partial evaluation of an individual's state of health and does not represent a diagnosis or recommendation. There are numerous medical diseases that cannot be discovered by clinical lab tests alone. If a laboratory test result is outside normal range, you are encouraged to see a physician. If you do not have a physician we can provide you with a list of physicians in your area.

    Laboratory test results may vary depending upon age, sex, time of day blood sample is taken, diet, medications, and the limits of modern technology. Many tests, in order to be validated, will need to be repeated at the discretion of the consulting or treating physician.

    Walk-In Lab shall not be liable to you or anyone else for any loss or injury caused in whole or in part by procuring, compiling, interpreting, delivering or reporting information through this website. In no event shall Walk-In Lab be liable to you or anyone else for any decisions made or action(s) taken or not taken by you in reliance on such information.

    If purchasing a blood test for the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) you understand and agree to the following:

    The tests can produce false positive and false negative results.  Screening tests fail to detect anti-HIV for a period of time immediately after infection with the virus (early post-exposure period). Re-testing or alternative DNA by PCR testing is a recommended option if it is suspected that post exposure testing has pre-dated the required period for conversion to positive HIV status.

    The results of the HIV test will become part of your medical record.  The confidentiality of your medical record will be maintained as per HIPAA regulations. However, it is required by law that a positive test results must be reported to the appropriate State Health Division.
