What is the purpose of this test?

The Fitness #3 Extreme Blood Test Panel is a comprehensive diagnostic tool designed for individuals seeking an in-depth evaluation of their physical health. This panel assesses critical biomarkers related to cardiovascular health, hormonal balance, muscle integrity, metabolic function, and systemic inflammation. By analyzing these parameters, the test provides valuable insights into your body's current state, helping to identify potential health risks and areas for improvement.

Regular monitoring through this panel can aid in the early detection of conditions such as heart disease, hormonal imbalances, muscle disorders, and metabolic dysfunctions. Early identification allows for timely interventions, personalized health strategies, and informed decisions about lifestyle modifications or medical treatments. Whether you're an athlete aiming to optimize performance or someone focused on maintaining overall wellness, this panel offers a detailed snapshot of your health status.

The Fitness #3 Extreme Blood Test Panel includes:

  • NMR LipoProfile®: This advanced test measures the number and size of lipoprotein particles, providing a more detailed assessment of cardiovascular risk than traditional lipid panels. Elevated levels of certain lipoprotein particles can indicate a higher risk of heart disease.
  • Complete Blood Count (CBC) with Differential and Platelets: Evaluates red and white blood cells, hemoglobin, hematocrit, and platelets to detect conditions like anemia, infections, and blood disorders. The differential provides detailed information about the types of white blood cells, aiding in diagnosing various health conditions.
  • Comprehensive Metabolic Panel (CMP-14): Assesses 14 substances in the blood, including glucose, electrolytes, and kidney and liver enzymes, to provide insights into metabolic health and organ function. Abnormal levels can indicate issues like diabetes, liver disease, or kidney dysfunction.
  • C-Reactive Protein (CRP, hs) Blood Test, High Sensitivity: Measures low levels of CRP to detect inflammation in the body, serving as an early indicator of cardiovascular disease risk. Elevated CRP levels can also suggest the presence of other inflammatory conditions.
  • Testosterone-Free (Direct) Serum Test with Total Testosterone: Evaluates both the total testosterone and the free (active) testosterone in the blood, crucial for assessing hormonal balance, muscle mass, bone density, and overall vitality in both men and women.
  • Aldolase: Measures the level of aldolase enzyme in the blood, which can indicate muscle damage or disease. Elevated levels may be associated with conditions affecting the muscles or liver.
  • Human Growth Hormone (HGH): Assesses the level of HGH, a hormone essential for growth, cell repair, and metabolism. Abnormal levels can indicate growth disorders, pituitary gland issues, or other health conditions.
  • Homocysteine: Measures the amount of homocysteine in the blood, an amino acid linked to a higher risk of cardiovascular diseases when elevated.High levels may also suggest deficiencies in vitamins B6, B9, or B12.
