The Pancreas is a vital organ that produces important enzymes as well as glucagon and insulin. Pancreatic cancer originates in the tissues of your pancreas and generally spreads rather quickly to nearby organs. Because of the location of the pancreas, cancer is troublesome to diagnose. The CA 19-9 and the CEA are useful tests in diagnosing pancreatic cancer. Thank you for browsing our selection of Pancreatic blood tests. Shop additional Cancer Screening Tests confidentially and order online without insurance or a doctor's note.

This CEA Blood Test measures the protein in the blood called carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA). This protein can be found on some cancer cell types.
The Carbohydrate Antigen (CA) 19-9 Blood Test is used primarily to monitor response to pancreatic cancer therapy and to monitor recurrence, sometimes to help diagnose pancreatic cancer. However, CA 19-9 may also be elevated with the presence of other cancers.
The Gastrin Blood Test is used to detect an overproduction of gastrin, to help diagnose Zollinger-Ellison syndrome and G-cell hyperplasia, and to monitor for recurrence of a gastrin-producing tumor (gastrinoma).
