Coagulation

Coagulation, also known as clotting, is the process in which blood will change forms from liquid to gel, and will prohibit excessive bleeding when you injure yourself. The blood that is running through your veins, on the contrary, should not clot. If these clots reach your heart, lungs, or brain; the result could be fatal. Common tests used to detect clots are the Prothrombin Time (PT) w/INR, the D-Dimer Blood Test, and the Fibrinogen Activity Blood Test. Thank you for browsing our selection of Coagulation blood tests. Home Test Kits

Walk-In Lab is contracted with LabCorp (LC) and Quest Diagnostics (QD) for routine lab testing. Please choose LC or QD to complete your order. If you prefer to receive a kit by mail for specimen collection, please see our Home Test Kits. LC and QD tests must be ordered separately.

LabCorp: Online lab testing is prohibited in MA, MD, NY, NJ and RI.

Quest Diagnostics: Online lab testing is prohibited in AZ, NY, NJ and RI.

  • Prothrombin Time (PT) w/INR and Partial Thromboplast...

The Prothrombin Time (PT) w/ INR and Partial Thromboplastin Time (PTT) Blood Test helps detect and diagnose a bleeding or excessive clotting disorder.
  • Prothrombin Time (PT) w/INR Blood Test

The Prothrombin Time w/ INR Blood Test is used to diagnose bleeding or clotting disorders and to determine if a medication that prevents blood clots is effective.
  • D-Dimer Blood Test

The D-Dimer Blood Test detects and measures D-dimer levels in the blood to screen for a blood clotting disorder.
  • Fibrinogen Activity Blood Test

The Fibrinogen Activity Test is used to check for fibrinogen, coagulation factor, a protein that is essential for blood clot formation.
  • Partial Thromboplastin Time Blood Test, Activated

A PPT Test is useful in detecting deficiencies or inhibitors to the intrinsic (Factors VIII, IX, XI, and XII) and common (Factors II, V, X, and fibrinogen) pathway coagulation factors.
  • Vitamin K1 Blood Test

The Vitamin K Blood Test measures vitamin K levels in the blood to screen for a vitamin K deficiency and assess the risk of blood clotting, bone metabolism, and hemorrhagic disorders.
  • Factor V Leiden Mutation Analysis Blood Test

The factor V Leiden mutation analysis blood test is used to detect a genetic mutation in the factor V gene, causing an increased risk of thrombosis or abnormal blood clots.
  • AspirinWorks; (11-Dehydro Thromboxane B2) Urine Test...

The AspirinWorks Test Kit is an enzyme-linked immunoassay (ELISA) to determine levels of 11-dehydrothromboxane B2 (11dhTxB2) in human urine, which aids in the qualitative detection of aspirin effect in apparently healthy individuals post ingestion.
  • Protein S Functional Blood Test

The Protein S Functional test measures protein activity to evaluate their ability to regulate blood clotting and screen for a potential excessive clotting disorder.
  • Antithrombin III Antigen Blood Test

An antithrombin III antigen blood test is used to help investigate the cause of recurrent inappropriate blood clotting or to help diagnose an antithrombin deficiency.
  • Factor VIII Activity Blood Test, Clotting

A Factor VIII Activity Blood Test is useful in measuring the activity of factor VIII, a blood-clotting protein.
  • Protein S Antigen Blood Test

The Protein S Antigen test measures the amount of protein S in the blood to determine if excessive blood clots are due to a hereditary or acquired deficiency.
